Lips’ skin is constantly exposed to external aggressions such as wind, climatic variations, etc. However, this part of our body is very thin and fragile. Moreover, the lips don’t have sebaceous glands. It is these glands that provide natural moisture to the skin. Therefore, it is important to protect and take care of them.

Gestures to avoid:

Moisten your lips with your tongue. This will temporarily soften them, but in the long term, they will only become drier and cracks may appear.

Overuse matte lipstick. It has become very trendy, and while it is certainly pretty, its texture suffocates lips’ skin and makes it more fragile. Before applying any lip make-up, remember to apply a hydrating balm. Finally, in the evening, be sure to remove your make-up with our Micellar Water, for example. Its fragrance-free formula, composed of 96% natural ingredients, moisturises, tonifies and softens even the most sensitive skin.

How to get beautiful, soft lips?

First, make sure you keep your body hydrated by drinking water. It will have an impact on the daily hydration of your lips.

To get rid of dead skin cells to reveal new lips, exfoliate once a week. To do so, check out our DIY Shea Butter Lip Scrub recipe. After removing your make-up, apply the scrub in circular movements and rinse. After exfoliation, it is recommended to moisturise deeply, for example with our 100% Pure Shea Butter.

Hydrate your lips daily, as often as necessary, by applying a moisturising balm. Our Lip Sticks are perfect to take them everywhere with you. Their melting textures, formulated with active ingredients known for their moisturizing and nourishing benefits, allow you to protect your lips in a single gesture.

Moisturise even at night! As our skin cells regenerate at night, this is the best time for the active ingredients to penetrate. For plumped lips in the morning, apply one of our Shea Butters before going to bed.

Now you know all the tips for soft, smooth lips!
