Hair, skin, nails, eyelashes… To nourish, fortify or stimulate growth, there is nothing like Castor Oil! Discover today the benefits of this essential beauty product.

What is Castor Oil?

Castor Oil is native to tropical Africa, and comes from the shrub of the same name. It is extracted from the castor seeds by cold pressing, a technique that preserves all its cosmetic virtues intact.

Rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, it is a fatty vegetable oil with a fairly thick and viscous texture. It should therefore be used sparingly, as very little product is needed to obtain amazing results.

Nevertheless, be careful when choosing your oil: choose an oil of organic origin, whose cold pressing process has been respected.

Multiple benefits

For the skin

Castor Oil is a real treasure for the skin! Rich in fatty acids, it is perfect for dry to very dry skin. It deeply moisturizes and nourishes, and plumps up the dermis. On the face, however, be careful to apply it in small quantities, at the risk of clogging the pores.

Having a high content of ricin oleic acid, with antibacterial and reparative properties, this oil is also ideal for skins with imperfections or marked by time. Indeed, it helps to fight against acne, pigmentary spots, wrinkles and fine lines. A real ally in your everyday life!

For the hair

It is no longer a secret that Castor Oil is the ultimate hair oil. Whether dry or oily, thick or thin, damaged or brittle, your hair will appreciate all its virtues!

Applied to the scalp, it moisturizes it. In an oil bath, it nourishes and strengthens the hair from the roots to the ends, and also promotes hair growth.

Once a week, apply Castor Oil from the scalp to the ends, in reasonable quantities. Then place a towel on your pillow and leave on until the next morning. On damp hair, use our So Vintage Shea Shampoo to remove excess, then rinse. Your hair will come out stronger than ever!

For lashes and eyebrows

Doe’s eyes and full eyebrows, we all dream of them, don’t we? With Castor Oil, it’s now possible!

Just like for the hair, it helps to nourish and accelerate growth. At bedtime, apply a few drops with a cotton swab to your lashes and eyebrows.

For the beard

Gentlemen, know that you are not to be outdone! Castor Oil is also ideal to moisturize and sublimate your beard. It accelerates the growth and allows you to obtain a full beard. In the evening after cleansing with our Shea Shaving Soap, apply a few drops for results that will leave you speechless!

You now know all the secrets of this extraordinary oil.
