What you need before you start:
- Medium-sized bowl
- Whisk for mixing
Ingredients and proportions:
- 2 teaspoons of Shea Butter
- 2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil
- A few drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
Easy steps to follow:
Take two teaspoons of Shea Butter and drop them into your bowl. Add the two teaspoons of Coconut Oil in the same container. Mix and softly melt the Shea Butter and the Coconut Oil for easier incorporation.
Once the mixture is homogeneous, add one tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil.
To perfume your recipe, add a few drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil.
Transfer your preparation to a resealable container.
To harden your recipe, put it in the fridge for 24 hours or 30 minutes in the freezer.
Once your recipe has solidified, take a small amount of the preparation and apply the cream uniformly on the part of your body that you want to hydrate and nourish. Repeat the operation as many times as necessary during the day.
To increase the effectiveness of your homemade body cream, exfoliate your body before applying the preparation. You can find our homemade Shea Butter Scrub recipe here.
